AUBURN, Ala. (AP) Glen Davis had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 25 LSU to a 65-61 victory over stingy Auburn on Saturday.<br>

Tasmin Mitchell scored his only two points of the game with 30 seconds left, breaking a 61-61 tie. Darrell Mitchell added two free throws down the stretch to give LSU (18-7, 10-2 Southeastern Conference) its third straight win and fourth in five games.<br>

Auburn (10-13, 2-10) had a couple of chances to tie or take the lead after Tasmin Mitchell's big shot, but Quantez Robertson missed a 3-pointer with 7 seconds left and Ronny LeMelle missed a jumper three seconds later.<br>

Davis coralled the rebound off LeMelle's miss with four seconds left to seal the win. Darrell Mitchell scored 16 points, including the game-clinching free throws with 1 second left. Tasmin Mitchell was 1-for-3 from the field while battling foul trouble for most of the night.<br>

Tyrus Thomas added 14 points and eight rebounds for LSU.<br>

LeMelle led Auburn with 21 points, 16 of which came in the first half. Josh Dollard had with 12 points and Robertson added 10.<br>

Auburn has now lost all four of its meetings against ranked opponents, including an 84-69 defeat at LSU earlier this month.<br>
