ATLANTA - Tijuan Green ran for 171 yards and three touchdowns to lead Northside-Warner Robins to a 20-17 win over St. Pius in the Class AAAA state semifinals Friday night.<br>

The Eagles (14-0) advance to next week's championship game.<br>

Green, who had 19 carries, scored twice in the first quarter on a 2 and 63 yard runs for Northside. The Eagles were in control of most of the game, but the Golden Lions (11-3) started to cut into the lead.<br>

Chris Philpott made a 28-yard field goal in the second quarter. Then Jonathan Tinsley scored on a 40-yard touchdown after halftime for St. Pius and trimmed the lead to 13-10. The Golden Lions were gaining momentum and were on the verge of scoring until a turnover on a Will Asip fumble.<br>

The Eagles later scored on Green's 4th-and-1 plunge for a touchdown in the fourth, putting Northside up by 10 points.<br>

St. Pius scored with 1:17 remaining in the game when Dylan Knight connected with Joey Flint on an 18-yard touchdown. The Golden Lions tried an onside kick, but Nortside recovered and went on to run out the clock.<br>
