GAINESVILLE - A senior at Chestatee High School has a chance to get an inside look at how the U.S. Senate works.
Lauren Keil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Kiel of Gainesville, is one of thirteen students from Georgia selected to participate in the final interviews for the 2006-2007 United States Senate Youth Program.
"If I'm chosen, I'll be Georgia's representative and will get to go to Washington in March," Keil told AccessNorthGa.com.
On November 17, student nominees will have the opportunity to compete for both the Washington experience and a $5,000 scholarship.
