JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Florida receiver Nyan Boateng was stabbed in the leg by a female student, causing a minor wound and prompting a police investigation.<br>

University of Florida police responded to a call Sunday afternoon and found Boateng and Shawna-Kay Peterkin fighting. According to a police report, Peterkin had already stabbed Boateng with a small knife.<br>

Boateng suffered a minor wound and refused treatment by medical personnel. Boateng and Peterkin declined to press aggravated battery charges against one another, police said.<br>

Both students could be reprimanded because officers referred them to the school's student judicial affairs.<br>

Boateng, a sophomore, has played in two games this season. He has four career receptions for 77 yards.
