RALEIGH, N.C. - North Carolina State quarterback Daniel Evans suffered a concussion in Saturday's loss to Wake Forest, but coach Chuck Amato said his quarterback is ``very probable'' for this week's game at Maryland.
Amato said he was unsure when Evans suffered the concussion, but said the sophomore was coherent each time that they spoke on the sideline and didn't show any signs of a concussion.
Doctors cleared Evans to return to practice Monday night, Amato said. The team's quarterbacks are never touched on the practice field, he said.
