Ark. DB turns himself in for failure to appear on traffic ticket

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas free safety Michael Grant turned himself in to authorities in Washington County for allegedly failing to take care of a traffic ticket.<br> <br> Grant was booked at 8:19 p.m. Monday and released on $1,280 bond at 9:45.<br> <br> According to Allenia Brannan, police secretary and warrants clerk with the West Fork Police Department, Grant was ticketed for speeding and reckless driving July 23 on Interstate 540 near West Fork. He was given two different court dates and didn&#39;t appear for either, she said, so he was notified that he had to turn himself in.<br> <br> Grant has a court date Nov. 7 on a failure-to-appear charge.<br> <br> Grant, a 20-year-old junior, has 32 tackles this season for the No. 13 Razorbacks.
