<p>The BellSouth Classic, the annual PGA Tour event held at Duluth's TPC at Sugarloaf, is moving to a later date as tournament officials hope for better weather.</p><p>Beginning in 2007, the tournament will be played in May instead of March.</p><p>This year's tournament is scheduled for March 27-April 2.</p><p>For the last several years the tournament has preceded the Masters in Augusta.</p><p>"While the week before the Masters has had some positive aspects, we have fought weather related issues five of the seven years we have played in that slot," said tournement executive director Dave Kaplan.</p><p>"In May, the golf course will be in perfect condition and will play hard and fast as it was intended, and the weather will be warmer and more stable. We will also have daylight savings time."</p><p>Only twice during the last seven years has the event been contested with four good weather days.</p><p>Last year the first two rounds of the tournament were rained out. The third round was played in 30-degree wind chills, snow and sleet.</p>
