Packers hire Jeff Jagodzinski as offensive coordinator

<p>The Green Bay Packers hired former tight ends coach Jeff Jagodzinski, who spent the last two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, as their offensive coordinator Sunday.</p><p>Jagodzinski was Green Bay's tight ends coach from 1999-03, before being fired by former coach Mike Sherman after the Packers lost to Philadelphia in an NFC divisional playoff game.</p><p>He and new Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy worked together in 1999, when McCarthy was the Packers' quarterbacks coach.</p><p>Jagodzinski coached the Falcons' tight ends in 2004 and then the offensive line this season. The Falcons led the NFL in rushing the past two seasons.</p><p>The 42-year-old Jagodzinski has 21 seasons of coaching experience at the pro and college levels. He also has served as offensive coordinator at Boston College and coached at East Carolina, LSU, Northern Illinois and Wisconsin-Whitewater.</p>
