INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Let go by the Philadelphia Eagles, defensive tackle Corey Simon has agreed to a multiyear contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Eagles removed the franchise tag on the former first-round draft pick Sunday, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Simon's agent Roosevelt Barnes says he finished the deal ``in principle'' with the Colts this morning and Simon will probably be in Indianapolis tomorrow for a physical.
Simon has 32 sacks in his five-year N-F-L career. He has skipped all of Philadelphia's minicamps and its training camp.
