FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) The Arkansas Razorbacks took to the practice field Tuesday with one man on the mind Vanderbilt quarterback Jay Cutler.
``When Jay Cutler comes to that line of scrimmage we need every fan to play every play with us,'' Arkansas coach Houston Nutt said. ``We truly need them to be the 12th man.''
Nutt said that Vanderbilt is coming off a road victory over Wake Forest and that makes the Commodores even more dangerous as an opponent.
``They have a lot of confidence going right now with the win they had on the road,'' Nutt said. ``This is going to be a tremendous challenge for us.''
The Razorbacks spent two hours in full pads practice on Tuesday to prepare for the Saturday match.
``Besides great preparation this week, we really need the fans to make this the most hostile environment come Saturday at 6 o'clock,'' Nutt said.
Even though Arkansas leads the nation in rushing yards, Nutt said he needs to have his players focus on passing because he expects the blitz from Vanderbilt.
``We have to continue to keep blocking and executing,'' Nutt said. ``We have to execute our passing game and throw and catch. Were still mixing in new formations.''
Kick off Saturday is at Razorback Stadium.
