Agent: Franks agrees to long-term deal with the Packers

UNDATED (AP) According to his agent, three-time Pro Bowl tight end Bubba Franks has agreed to a long-term contract with the Green Bay Packers.<br> <br> Franks has missed all of training camp while the two sides negotiated a deal after he refused to sign a one-year tender offer from the team as the Packers&#39; transition player.<br> <br> Packers g-m Ted Thompson wouldn&#39;t comment until the deal is signed.<br> <br> Franks has appeared in all 80 games and six playoff games in the first five years of his career.<br> <br> (Copyright 2005 by The Associated Press.
