<p>There's more off-season trouble for the University of Georgia's football team.</p><p>Freshman linebacker Tavares Kearney -- from Tucker High School -- faces possible expulsion from the university after a teacher accused him of cheating on an exam and simple battery.</p><p>The battery charge was filed against Kearney by instructor Dawn Penn. An incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution from the University of Georgia Police Department shows that charge was dropped Wednesday.</p><p>Kearney has since withdrawn from the course. A school spokesman says he has returned to his home in the Atlanta area.</p><p>His eligibility is uncertain pending the outcome of the university's judicial process.</p><p>A copy of the incident report was forwarded to Georgia athletics director Damon Evans and coach Mark Richt. Neither would discuss specifics of the case or say whether additional internal discipline will be forthcoming.</p><p>The police report says Penn suspected Kearney of using his cell phone camera to cheat on a nutrition exam during summer classes last Friday.</p><p>U-G-A officials said yesterday that fullback Des Williams fill miss the upcoming season after rupturing his right chest muscle while lifting weights this week.</p>
