Auburn men's swimming team to visit White House

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) Auburn's men's swimming and diving team will be recognized by President Bush for its national championship, the school's first athletic team to be honored at the White House.<br>

The Tigers, who visit Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, captured their third consecutive NCAA title and fifth overall in March.<br>
<br>
``It is the highest honor to be invited to the White House,'' coach David Marsh said. ``On behalf of the swim team, Auburn University and all Auburn people, we are very excited. I am most excited for our athletes and the opportunity they will have to shake hands with one of today's leaders.''<br>
