EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) The agent for Jeff McInnis says the free agent guard has reached an agreement with the New Jersey Nets.<br>

McInnis will sign a one-year deal with an option for a second.<br>

The 6-foot-4 McInnis can play both point guard as a backup to Jason Kidd, and shooting guard. He averaged almost 13 points per game for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season.<br>
