GAINESVILLE - This year's winner of the Brenau Univesity Distinguished Service Award is Mike Whitmire of Gainesville.
The award recognizes individuals for outstanding service to the Brenau and Gainesville communities.
The school's Mary Mildred Sullivan Award - for outstanding community service - went to Chuck Guthrie of Gainesville, and, the Outstanding Faculty Award was presented to Assistant Professor of Nursing Margaret Nikulich-Barrett.
