Seven Georgia High School Association soccer championships were decided over the weekend, leaving only Monday's game between bitter Gwinnett County rivals Parkview and Brookwood for the boys Class AAAAA title.<br>

Richmond Academy claimed the boys Class AAA crown on Saturday with a 3-0 rout of Flowery Branch, while the Aquinas boys edged Savannah Christian 2-1 in overtime for the AA-A championship.<br>

On Friday, Woodward defeated McIntosh 1-0 to win the boys Class AAAAA title. For the girls, it was Parkview 3, South Forsyth 0 in AAAAA, McIntosh 5, St. Pius 0 in AAAA; Westminster 3, Blessed Trinity 0 in AAA; and Lovett 2, Providence Christian 0 in AA-A.<br>

After sharing the title last year, Richmond Academy has it all itself this time around.<br>

The Musketeers (17-4-2) outshot Flowery Branch 12-1 in the first half and finished with a 20-5 edge in shots on goal.<br>

``I knew in the first five minutes of this game we were going to win this game,'' Richmond defender Parker Rogers said. ``No offense to those other guys. But from just what I saw, I knew that they didn't have the intensity it was going to take to win this game.''<br>

In Saturday's other game, Chase Hodges put Savannah Christian (19-3) ahead, but Jordan Gilbert tied it for Aquinas (19-4-1) with just five minutes left in regulation.<br>

In overtime. Jacob Mullner dribbled down the left side of the field, looked to cross, then shot instead. The ball passed a converging group of Savannah Christian defenders and left goaltender Carson Britt frozen.<br>

``It looked pretty bleak there,'' said Aquinas coach Kevin Kennedy. ``As the second half wore on, it looked like it was one of those games where you don't finish.''
