Weather again stalls NCAA Division II men's golf

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) The weather slowed play in the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships for the second day on Wednesday at the Club at Savannah Harbor.<br>

Rain and thunder have caused several delays through the first two rounds. Wednesday's second round was incomplete due to darkness and was to be resumed Thursday morning.<br>

Dana Burkhart of South Carolina-Aiken shot a 3-under-par 68 in round two to take the individual lead by two strokes and carry his team into a two-way tie for fifth with Chico State with a 14-over total of 582. Chico State was still on the course when play was halted.<br>
<br>
St. Edwards University had not completed the second round but was in the lead at 9-over-par, followed by first-round leader Northern Kentucky (+11).<br>
