FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Arkansas football coach Houston Nutt says his team has made progress in the first week of spring practice.
The Razorbacks practiced in full pads for about two hours Monday afternoon as they began their second week of spring workouts.
``The film from Saturday's scrimmage showed that we were getting better,'' Nutt said. ``It was pretty much what we said following the scrimmage. We made some plays and made some improvements. You just keep working and we are seeing a little bit of improvement each time out. Maybe not leaps and bounds, but we are seeing improvement and that is encouraging.''
Injuries have been a problem.

``It is so frustrating to see guys like Cody Green, Tony Hugo, Zack Tubbs and Jonathan Luigs all lined up on the sidelines,'' Nutt said. ``And then you add Fred Bledsoe and Chase Pressley and that is tough. You are missing a lot of good work.''
Pressley, an offensive guard, went down in Monday's practice with a concussion after Bledsoe suffered a similar whack to the head in Saturday's scrimmage.
``Bledsoe hit his helmet on the ground ... when he made that sack,'' Nutt said. ``You saw the back of his head hit the ground really hard. He got up and made the next couple plays and you could see him start to lose it. We had to put him in the hospital and check him over, but he was back out here watching practice today.''
Arkansas planned to practice Tuesday in full pads at 3:30 p.m., again closing the workout after the first 15 minutes.
