Eagles advance to GISA Final Four

GAINESVILLE - The Riverside Military Academy baseball team advanced to the Class I-AAA GISA Final Four after beating Southland Academy in a decisive Game 3 Wednesday.

The Eagles will play host to Tattnall Square Monday for a shot at the championship series.

The two teams had to finish Game 1 Wednesday after the game was stopped Tuesday because of rain with Riverside leading 6-2. The Eagles went on to a 10-2 victory.

Southland, however, tied the series with a 6-3 win in Game 2.

Riverside then saved its best game for last taking a 7-0 win in the deciding third game.
