MURRAYVILLE - The North Hall girls tennis team improved to 2-1 after beating Johnson 5-0 Thursday in the Hall County Tournament.<br>

In singles action, Emily Randall beat Jennifer Booth 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 while Carly Franze beat Brittany Cronic 6-2, 7-5. Courtney Cooper beat Alli Benefield 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.<br>

In doubles, Lindsay Kitchens and Mary Katherine Pittman came from behind to beat Melissa Johnson and Brooke Baker 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 while Maggie Mayfield and Hayley Crowder beat Kelly Lane and Katie Moore 6-4, 7-6 (10-8) at No. 2 to complete the sweep.
