WASHINGTON (AP) After missing four games with an intestinal disorder, Rashad McCants looked as if he hadn't been away.
The North Carolina guard scored 13 points in 15 minutes in an 88-to-81 quarterfinal victory over Clemson. He also helped carry a late comeback with a pair of three-pointers and hustled after a loose ball down the stretch, allowing the Tar Heels to avoid the largest upset in tournament history.
McCants finished three-of-five from the field in his first game since February 19th, when he had nine points in a win over Clemson.
McCants says he felt good on the court, like he did in the beginning of the season. He says he's full of strength and ready to go.
