RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) Jason Von Behren went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double and four RBIs to lead Maryland to a 14-6 win against North Carolina State on Friday.<br>

Elliot Singletary also drove in four runs with a homer and a double for the Terrapins (9-4, 3-1 Atlantic Coast Conference).<br>

Lee Mezistrano hit a a grand-slam home run, the second of his collegiate career, for North Carolina State (13-5, 1-3). Brian Aragon was 2 for 3 with an RBI double.<br>

North Carolina State led 6-4 after six innings, but allowed 11 runs in the final three innings. Von Behren's three-run homer put the Terrapins ahead 9-6 in the seventh.<br>

Chris Clem (1-1) allowed six runs on seven hits in 7 1/3 innings for the win while walking two, striking out four and hitting four batters.<br>
<br>
Reliever Phil Davidson (1-3) was charged with three earned runs in just a third of an inning on two hits and a walk.<br>
