DAWSONVILLE - The Dawson County boys golf team shot its best cummulative team score in three years Tuesday.<br>

The Tigers, however, lost to Pickens 159-171 in a dual match at Gold Creek Golf Course.<br>

Dawson County's Blake Palmer won the low medalist with a 1-under par 35 but Pickens top four golfers all shot 42 or under to win the match.<br>
<br>
Zack Dobson led Pickens with a 38. Will Eubanks shot a 39, Stephen Hunter shot a 40 and Josh Gordon carded a 42 for the Dragons.<br>
<br>
Nick Daly carded his best round of year for Dawson with a 42. Joel Burlingame shot a 45 and Ty Overmyer shot a 49 for the Tigers.
