COLUMBIA, S.C. - Chris Brown had three hits and drove in three runs as South Carolina beat Davidson 10-1 on Wednesday night.<br>

Brown got all his RBIs on a second-inning home run as the Gamecocks (18-3) jumped out to a 5-0 lead.<br>

South Carolina scored four more runs in the eighth, including a run-scoring double by Jon Williard, who also had three hits.<br>

The Wildcats (9-10) scored their only run in the fourth, when Alden Crissey grounded into a double play with the bases loaded.<br>
<br>
South Carolina used nine pitchers, with none of them facing more than seven batters.<br>
<br>
Andy Lambert (2-0), the first out of the bullpen, picked up the win. He faced six batters, allowing a hit and striking out two.<br>
<br>
Davidson starter Justin Hartanov pitched less than two innings, allowing six hits and five runs, to pick up the loss. The Wildcats also used nine pitchers.
