TEMPE, ARIZONA - Baylor has earned a spot in the NCAA women's Final Four by ousting the top seed in the Tempe Regional final.<br>

Sophia Young scored 19 points and grabbed eleven rebounds to lead Baylor to a 72-to-63 win over North Carolina. Chameka (shah-MEE'-kuh) Scott had 18 points, hitting four of her eight three-point attempts after going 0-for-9 from beyond the arc in her previous two games.<br>

Steffanie Blackmon added 14 points for the Lady Bears, who led by as many as 19 in the second half.<br>

Baylor is in the women's Final Four for the first time in school history. The Tar Heels were trying to join the North Carolina men in the national semifinals.<br>

Ivory Latta had 21 points for the Heels, who shot just 32 percent.
