MURRAYVILLE - The North Hall Trojans boys tennis team defeated the Johnson Knights in a Region 7-AAA match.
The Trojans won 2 of the 3 singles matches and then split the doubles matches with the Knights to win 3-2 on Tuesday.
In the No.1 singles match the Trojan's Kip Wright, who recently signed with Georgia Southwestern State University, defeated Phat Vu 6-0, 6-0.
In the No.2 match the Knight's Adam Kersh beat Gaines Robinson 7-5, 6-4. In the final singles match of the night, North Hall's Peter Boychuck defeated Billy Hulsey 6-2, 6-4.
In the doubles matches North Hall's Jared Hunt and Trey Anderson cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win. But in the second match Nick Meagher and Jim Butts lost 1-6, 3-6.
The Trojans will travel to Lakeview to take on the Lions on Wednesday.
