GAINESVILLE - The Lakeview girls tennis team improved to 6-3 on the season as they shutout Brenau on Tuesday night.<br>

The Lady Lion's Nancy Lewatlen defeated Brenau's Susan Minkiewicz 6-0, 6-0 in the No.1 singles match.<br>

In the No.2 singles match Lakeview's Dianna Briggs beat Elizabeth Corum 7-6, 6-1. In the final singles match, the Lady Lion's Kelsey Bagwell defeated Madalene Wilhelm 6-3, 6-0.<br>

In the doubles matches the Lady Lions had the same kind of success as they won both matches.<br>

Lindsey Brown and Caitlin Wells won 6-1, 6-0 over Heather Link and Devon Jones of Brenau.<br>
<br>
In the No.2 doubles match, Lakeview's Liz Presley and Brooke Humphries beat Marissa Shelton and Katelyn Thomas 6-0, 6-0.
