CLEVELAND - White County won its Region 7-AAA opener in impressive style whipping Pickens County 11-3 Tuesday at home.<br>

Derreck Sheffield went the distance for the Warriors (7-2-1, 1-0 in region) striking out seven while not allowing an earned run.<br>

Brian Cantrell and Adam Heykens had three hits each for White County.<br>

The Warriors plays host to Johnson, which beat Gainesville 10-6 Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
