Hawks place Harrington on injured reserve

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Hawks placed forward Al Harrington, the team&#39;s second-leading scorer, on the injured reserve list Monday and activated Kenny Anderson for Monday night&#39;s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.<br> <br> Harrington is averaging 17.1 points per game but has been bothered by tendinitis in his right knee. He led the Hawks with 26 points in his last game Saturday night against Indiana but was placed on the injured reserve list after an MRI Monday.<br> <br> Harrington also ranks second on the team with his average of 7.1 rebounds per game.<br> <br> ``He&#39;s going to have to shut it down for a while, maybe two weeks,&#39;&#39; said Hawks coach Mike Woodson.<br> <br> The Hawks were without two other starters Monday night. Rookie Josh Smith is on injured reserve with a sprained ankle and guard Tyronn Lue is out with a strained left Achilles.<br> <br> Anderson was placed on the injured reserve list with a strained left calf on Jan. 29. He was expected to make his first start since Dec. 8 Monday night.<br> <br> Anderson is averaging 5.0 points and 2.6 assists per game.
