COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) Davy Gregg had three hits and scored two runs to lead South Carolina to a 4-1 win over Longwood on Saturday.<br>

Gregg singled in the first, seventh and eighth innings for the Gamecocks (2-0). Michael Campbell's two-run homer in the seventh inning sealed the win.<br>

Zac McCamie allowed seven hits over six innings to pick up his first win. Brent Marsh, who gave up two hits in the ninth, earned the save.<br>

Clay Horn (0-1) allowed just three hits in five innings but took the loss.<br>

Longwood (1-6) tied the game at 1 in the second inning when Corey Huemmer singled, moved to second on a sacrifice and scored on a Tyler Childress' double.
