WASHINGTON - A Kentucky Ten Commandments case scheduled to be heard next month by the U.S. Supreme Court is similar to a couple in northeast Georgia.
The cases involve an ACLU lawsuit seeking the removal of Ten Commandments displays at courthouses in Kentucky. The displays include the Ten Commandments along with other historical documents that played a role in the development of American law.
Habersham County gave up its fight to keep such displays a year ago and a similar case in Barrow County is on hold.
