Commissioners denied a request to rezone 92 acres of land along Georgia Highway 124 near I-85, according to the Norton Agency's Native Intelligence Market Watch. <br>

Dewey C. White of Winder sought to rezone the property for industrial use and change Barrow County's land-use plan to allow him to build 1.5 million square feet of office and warehouse space and at least 90,000 square feet of mini-warehouses on the site.<br>
