KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - John Lowery rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown to lead Miles to a 34-24 victory over Morehouse Saturday in the Knoxville Legacy Classic.<br>

Miles (4-7, 3-6 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) took a 34-10 lead on Tarence Bruce's 75-yard interception return late in the third quarter in its season finale.<br>

Morehouse (3-7, 2-7) responded with two touchdowns in the final 16 minutes.<br>
<br>
Miles rushed for 219 yards in the game. Lowery's 17 carries included a 1-yard TD run with 4:34 left in the third quarter.<br>

Ruben DuPree passed for 224 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for Morehouse. He also ran for a 4-yard TD in the fourth quarter.<br>
