Religious retreat on planners' agenda

GAINESVILLE - Unrelated requests for a religious retreat and a 54-lot
subdivision are scheduled to go before the Hall County Planning Commission
Monday.

Missionary Sisters of Sacred Heart wants to locate the religious retreat
near Lake Lanier Islands. They've chosen a four-acre site near the
intersection of New Bethany Road and Bay View Drive.

The subdivision is planned on sixty acres on Lawson Robinson Road near
W.G. Robinson Road.

In addition, planners will hear a request from another developer to vary
subdivision regulations by deleting the requirement for sidewalks in
Rogers Bay Subdivision on C. Rogers Road - something the county commission
discussed a few days ago.
