MURRAYVILLE - The Johnson girls basketball team used a 24-8 second quarter to roll to a 60-42 win over Stephens County Friday night in the North Hall Tournament.
Johnson (3-1) led just 9-7 after the first quarter but outscored the Lady Indians 40-16 in the second and third quarters combined to blow the game open.
Aryelle Bagley and Whitney Randolph each scored had 12 points to lead the Lady Knights. Randolph added 9 rebounds.
Brooke Baker had 10 points and 4 steals and freshman Madison Strickland had 2 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Melissa Johnson had 5 points and 4 steals.
Johnson will play Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Saturday at 1 p.m. in the tournament.
