<p>Jimmie Russell threw for 145 yards and ran for 104 and accounted for four touchdowns to lead Bethune Cookman to a 56-13 win over Savannah State on Saturday.</p><p>Russell, who completed 9-of-13 passes, had nine carries.</p><p>The Tigers (0-6) cut the lead to 14-13 in the second quarter when Clyde Tullis caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Williams, who threw for 112 yards, a touchdown and had one interception.</p><p>But the Wildcats (5-2) scored 42 consecutive points to put the game on ice. Eric Weems, who had nine catches for 101 yards, had two catches of 27 and 13 from Russell. Weems also scored on a 17-yard run in the third.</p><p>Russell also connected with Jonathan Summers from 33 yards and Russell scored on a 14-yard run.</p><p>Chadrick Cone ran for 89 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown for Savannah State.</p>
