LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) Nat Jackson and Bryan Royster each had two touchdown runs as VMI beat Charleston Southern 34-12 Saturday.<br>

Jackson carried the ball 22 times for 134 yards, and Jackson had 96 yards on 20 carries.<br>

Jackson scored both his touchdowns a 4-yard run in the first quarter and an 18-yard carry in the second and Vic Rosen brought down Andre Copeland in the end zone for a safety to put VMI (3-3, 2-0 Big South Conference) up 15-0 at halftime.<br>

Quarterback Collin Drafts ran for a 3-yard touchdown in the third quarter, and Markus Murry caught an 8-yard pass for a touchdown in the fourth for Charleston Southern (2-4, 0-1). Drafts finished 21-for-35 for 219 yards and two interceptions.<br>

VMI blocked the point-after attempt after Murry's touchdown, and Grant Harris returned it for a touchdown. Barrett Way rounded out the scoring with a 35-yard field goal with 2:49 remaining.<br>

Jonathan Wilson finished 13-for-22 for 144 yards for VMI.<br>
