ATLANTA (AP) Georgia State named Monique Holland associate athletic director for operations Friday.<br>

The hire was announced by new athletic director Mary McElroy.<br>

Holland will oversee game day operations and will assist with compliance issues. She also will serve as the sport administrator for six athletic teams.<br>
<br>
Holland was the NCAA's assistant director of membership services for the last year.<br>
<br>
Holland is a former Georgia Tech women's basketball assistant. She also was the assistant director of compliance at Georgia Tech and assistant athletic director at Clayton College State University.<br>
