Man accused of raping and burning woman is back in Wisconsin

<p>One of two men who went on the run after being accused of kidnapping, raping and burning a woman has been extradited to Wisconsin.</p><p>Juan Nieto, 24, was booked into Brown County jail early Friday, sheriff's officials said.</p><p>Nieto was arrested Dec. 6 after FBI agents tracked him to a DeKalb County, Ga., apartment he was sharing with his brother. The arrest occurred after the case was featured on the television show "Americas Most Wanted."</p><p>Nieto and Gregorio Morales, 27, have been charged with felony charges of kidnapping, second-degree sexual assault and attempted first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the August 2003 incident.</p><p>They are accused of snatching a woman from the parking lot of a Green Bay nightclub, driving her to rural Rockland, sexually assaulting her, choking her, dousing her with lighter fluid and setting her on fire, a criminal complaint says.</p><p>The woman, who had burns to her arms, legs, face and side, went to a nearby house for help.</p><p>Morales was arrested in New Mexico in July. He also has been returned to Wisconsin and will face charges during a jury trial this month.</p><p>Nieto and Morales had been working in Brown County at the time of the attack and were identified through the woman's description and DNA samples collected by their Wisconsin employer, according to law enforcement officials.</p><p>A manager at the dairy where the pair worked saw composite drawings of the men after the assault and collected two soda bottles from one of the men so authorities could obtain DNA samples.</p><p>If convicted on all counts, they face up 180 years in prison.</p>
