James Poindexter scored 28 points and Brian Fisk added 13 points for Lipscomb, but it wasn't enough to hold off the Bears (8-4, 4-2). Lipscomb lost momentum after Mercer's Tyler McCurry hit a 3-pointer, his only basket, to put the Bears up 72-71 with five minutes left in the game.<br>
