JASPER - The Pickens County boys basketball team remained unbeaten in Region 7-AAA North after taking a 74-61 win over rival Gilmer Tuesday night at home.<br>

The Dragons (11-6, 3-0 in subregion) never trailed outscoring the Bobcats (4-12, 0-3) in every quarter.<br>
<br>
Stephen Hunter led Pickens with 21 points and and Nick Wood added 13.<br>
<br>
Gilmer was led by Clay Collins with 20 and Adam Green with 18 points.<br>
<br>
Pickens next will play host to White County on Saturday. White County also is unbeaten in subregion play but plays Chestatee at home on Friday.<br>
<br>
Gilmer will travel to Fannin County Friday and is off Saturday.
