The Bears (10-4, 6-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) had three other players score in double figures James Odoms and Wesley Duke with 13 each and Will Emerson with 10. Duke also had 10 rebounds.<br>

The Bulldogs (8-6, 5-2) were led by Tim Jennings with 18 points and eight rebounds. Josh Chiles added 12 points and Simon Conn 10 for Gardner Webb.<br>

The Bears held a 38-34 lead at halftime.
