ATLANTA - Two groups - one on each side of the issue - are scheduled to face-off at the state Capitol Thursday over the question of granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
This will be the third such march in favor of granting licenses to Georgia's nearly 230,000 "illegals." Proponents of the idea say doing so would make the roads safer because it would allow illegals to buy car insurance and they would have to pass a driving test.
But, opponents maintain it would be a reward for breaking the law and enourage more migration by the undocumented.
