CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE - Jermaine Austin rushed for 167 yards and scored two touchdowns one for 63 yards to help Georgia Southern beat Chattanooga 51-17 Saturday night.<br>

Austin's first touchdown was a 1-yard run early in the first quarter and his long one came with 3:46 left in the quarter to put Georgia Southern (3-1, 2-0 Southern Conference) up 16-0.<br>

Chattanooga (0-3, 0-1) never really threatened. Jonathan Godfrey got the Mocs their first score with a 39-yard field goal in the second quarter.<br>

Chattanooga's final two scores came in the fourth on a 1-yard run by Lironnie Davis and a 5-yarder by Antonio Miller, but by then the game was out of reach.<br>

Davis did lead Chattanooga with 63 yards rushing.
