<p>An Ohio woman has been convicted of lesser charges in an April shootout with Houston County law enforcement officers.</p><p>Heather Elizabeth Michael, 18, of Lakeview, Ohio, was convicted Wednesday of two counts of theft by bringing stolen property into the state, two counts of fleeing or attempting to elude, one count of possession of marijuana and speeding.</p><p>But the jury acquitted her of other charges that included aggravated assault on a peace officer, aggravated battery on a peace officer, first-degree criminal damage to property, possession of a firearm during a crime, theft by taking and reckless driving.</p><p>Three other Ohio residents charged in the April 26 incident have already pleaded guilty.</p><p>Charles Brutus Wright, 19, of Marysville, Ohio, pleaded guilty Monday to all 20 counts against him, admitting he shot and wounded a Perry police officer and shot at two sheriff's deputies.</p><p>Both Wright and Michael are scheduled to be sentenced Friday afternoon.</p><p>Zachary James Potter, 19, of Lakeview, Ohio, and Jennifer Jones, 21, of Marysville, Ohio, made separate plea agreements earlier this month.</p><p>Potter pleaded guilty to one count of theft by bringing stolen property into the state and received a 10-year sentence, to serve one year in detention. Jones also pleaded guilty to theft by bringing stolen property into the state. She received a five-year sentence, to serve 60 to 90 days in detention.</p><p>Authorities said the four Ohioans were headed for Tampa, Fla., when Houston County sheriff's Sgt. Chad Payne tried to stop their pickup, which was speeding on Interstate 75. A chase ensued that went into Perry, where the driver, Wright, crashed into a utility pole.</p><p>Perry police Sgt. Chris Sutcliff was shot once in the arm when he went to the passenger side of the truck with his gun drawn.</p>
