While Statesboro is known predominantly as a smash mouth wishbone running attack, David Cone completed 5-of-10 passes for 107 yards, including the two scores to Davis.<br>

Nick Wedlow and Gavin McCullough paced the Blue Devil ground assault. Wedlow rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. McCullough ran for another 81 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.<br>

The Blue Devil defense had a shutout for the second consecutive week.
