NO. 5 PARKVIEW GETS BACK ON WINNING TRACK: Caleb King scored two touchdowns and grabbed an interception as Parkview bounced back from a season-opening loss with a 37-7 rout over Norcross, beating them for the 11th straight time.
The Panthers jumped to a 24-0 halftime lead thanks to a defensive effort that held the hosts to one first down, then put the game away when King returned the second-half kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown.
That effort was part of a bounce-back night for Parkview, which showed no ill effects from last weeks 12-10 loss to top-ranked Camden County.
Jeff Witt completed 7 of 14 passes for 132 yards and a pair of scores. Antonio Mohn led the rushing attack with 61 yards and two touchdowns.
