<p>A Florida couple traveling to their son's wedding were among those killed in a wreck on Interstate 85, authorities said.</p><p>Three people died in the wreck Thursday in Randolph County, and two others were injured.</p><p>Among those killed were Beverly Elaine Whitaker, 60, of Navarre, Fla., and her husband, William James Whitaker, 61, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet Blazer that his wife was driving, the state Highway Patrol said. The couple were traveling from Florida to Virginia to attend their son's wedding, said Highway Patrol Trooper W.J. Davis.</p><p>Richard Lee Nash Jr., 32, of Lexington was killed when the Mazda sedan he was driving was struck from behind by a pickup, causing him to lose control of his car and collide with the Blazer about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, the patrol said.</p><p>Nash's car, which was traveling south near the Trinity Road overpass, crossed the highway median and struck the northbound Chevrolet Blazer.</p><p>A fourth vehicle, driven by Glenda Turner, 36, of Alpharetta, Ga., was involved in the accident as well. Turner, who wasn't injured, was traveling north behind the Whitakers' Blazer, swerved to avoid the wreckage and overturned, troopers said.</p><p>Her two children who were riding with her, Essence Lauren Turner, 16, and Evin Lewis Turner, 6, suffered minor injuries, Davis said.</p><p>The driver of the pickup that hit Nash's car, triggering the accident, was Michael Noyes II, 21, of Lexington, the report said. He apparently was trying to change lanes when the accident occurred, Davis said.</p><p>No charges have been filed.</p>
