CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Georgians had a strong showing at the Charlotte Ultrawim, taking the top spots in three of the eight events Sunday. <br>

In women's events, Amanda Weir of Swim Atlanta won the 100 freestyle in 55.92 seconds, and Laura Conway of Swim Macon won the 1,500-freestyle in 16:44.91 seconds. The 19-year-old Conway - a University of Georgia swimmer - also won the 800 freestyle Thursday. <br>

In men's events, Nicholas Kintz - competing for the Athens Bulldogs swim club - won the 100 freestyle in 51.53 seconds. <br>

Canadian Andrew Hurd posted his third win at the pre-Olympic meet Sunday, winning the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 8:11.48 seconds. He also won the 200 freestyle Friday and the 400 free Saturday.
