<p>Georgia-Pacific Corp. is cutting another 45 jobs from its Iowa work force.</p><p>Bruce Fredericks, general manager of the company's Iowa operations, said the offset printing department is being relocated. Thirty-seven hourly workers and eight salaried employees will lose their jobs by the end of the week.</p><p>"There are a number of transitions in our business, and we need to achieve production synergies," Fredericks said.</p><p>The company in January eliminated 47 positions for similar reasons, moving its Litho-laminating equipment elsewhere.</p><p>After Friday, the plant will have 173 employees, 35 percent smaller than the start of the year.</p><p>Georgia-Pacific, based in Atlanta, is a leading manufacturer of tissue, pulp, paper, packaging, building products and related chemicals.
